Can I take my pet to the beach?

Spanish law prohibits to animals the access to the classified as public beaches (those that have services, such as bins, garbage collection...).

So, dogs on beaches are not allowed, except some exceptions, such as guide dogs for blind people or, for example, some municipal regulations that allow dogs between 10 am and 5 pm between 1st April and 23rd May if it is on a leash, or between May 27 and Sept 2nd outside the busiest hours (10 am to 5 pm)
